Welcome to the Channelers Battle Network Game! An Ethereal World of Your Creation... Welcome one and all the the Channelers Battle Network Game, a large-scale battle network RPG. The battles here are ones based from many RPG systems, packed all into one massive game. When you begin this game, you will be in control of your own power. GAMEPLAYThe Channelers Battle Network Game is a turn-based game in which creatures called "Summons" are used. These Summons are the focal point of the game, being creatures of your own creation. The attacks they use, the power they have, and the traits they harness are capable of being used by anyone who wishes to input them. The point of the game is to battle with these Summons. Two or more Summons are pitted against one another in single combat, with the victor being the one who is capable of KOing the others Summon. This means you must deplete your opponent's Summon's HP (Health Points) to 0%. The battle system for the Channelers Battle Network Game is robust, with many tricks, twists and turns that can completely change the tide of battle. The most often of this would be the Secondary Effects of certain moves, which may range from dealing extra damage and inflicting debilitating status ailments. The possibilities are nearly endless for the Channelers Battle Network Game. Summons are capable of having many things; including a certain Element, Stat Spread, Trait, and a bank of attacks at their disposal. It is purely up to you, the Summoner, to choose what they will be using. For more information, visit the Battle Mechanics Thread. WHY SHOULD I JOIN?- We have a fair staff and very kind veterans, ready and willing to answer any question you may have for the RPG.
- You are in control of the Summon you create, with its appearance, element and stats completely your volition.
- We have activities for all to enjoy!
- All of our rules are, while strict, very fair and easy to follow.
WHERE DO I BEGIN?Well that would be very easy. Your first step would be to introduce yourself to us in the Welcome and Departure Board. Next, you should go to the Channelers Battle Network Game Summon Registry to register your Summon. Wait for one of the Game Moderators to overlook your Summon and we will approve it based on if it follows the guidelines. After that, you should probably visit the Black Market. There, it would be wise to visit Summon Depot. In your Beginners Package, you will have the ability for a free Summon Pass. The Summon Passes allow you to create another Summon to add to your arsenal. Know that the number of Summons you can have is limitless, so long as each follows the rules. Next, go to the Battle Circle and try to flag down someone to battle against. This would be a very good idea, as the battles are the most important (and largest) parts of the Channelers Battle Network Game. Check out the forum game, Clans! Create or join a clan and battle for supremacy! Afterwards, explore the forums and see what all there is to offer. Another place of interest would be the Training Dojo, where you can raise the stats of your Summon!

Rules, Guidebooks and Articles...- Do not cheat. This Network is a game of trust. We ask that you please refrain from cheating, lest you be punished. This is one of the most severe offenses, and will result in Level 4-5 Punishment.
- No Trolling/Flaming. No Belligerence. Ideally, we like to keep our Network free of those who want to cause trouble. Help us by not acting inappropriately. Should you do, you will be banned.
- No Mini-Modding. We have staff for a reason. Do not try to take matters into your own hands. If you don't see "Game Moderator" or anything of the like under your name, you don't have the power to reprimand someone. Report the person to the Moderators, and they will deal with it as swiftly as possible.
- No False Reports/Accusations. No Unnecessary Reports/Accusations. More of a continuation of the above. If you file false reports or accuse someone of something that is completely false, we will reprimand you. No one likes to be lied on.
- No Inappropriate Posts. Pornography, the discussion of illegal products, gore/death pictures, or any type of offensive material will result in an automatic ban. Bashing someone for religious/sexual preference will result in an automatic ban.
- No Undermining. Undermining our game will result in a ban. No one likes those who come to our game with apathy. We only wish to create something that is fun for all.
- No Vandalism. Vandalizing posts, editing them to make them wrong/offensive, and trolling on any of the boards will result in punishment. If this continues, you will be banned.
- Respect the Officials. We cannot stress this enough. Respect the Game Officials, as they are here to help. If they ask you to do something, you are expected to do it. Should they ask you to do something offensive, you should report them. But, if it is for the rules; that would be considered disrespect. Acting rudely to an Official is probably also not the best idea, as they hold the power to report and ban.
- No Stealing. You cannot steal any work/Summons from another. While this is alleviated by the storing of Summons in the database; we ask that you not attempt to steal the work of others. Summons with the same history/lore are not allowed, no matter how similar they are. Only the one who has created the Summon may have it have similar lore.
Now that we've covered the rules, let's talk about Punishment. Punishments are the repercussions of offensive/illegal action. Each Punishment has a different Level.

Ways to Gain Leverage In the Network...You may find that many times upon starting the Network that you come out last. This is because you've joined the Network with misdirection. However, there are easy ways for you to gain some leverage and become a pro. Top 5 In-Battle Mistakes Every Newbie Should Avoid...- Not using the strongest move your Summon has.
Unless your Summon is a Fresh, with their only moves being either Blitz or Ravage; you should always strive to use the strongest move in their arsenal. Using War Dance and a Magical attack subsequently makes absolutely no sense. Do research. Do the math. Ask questions. Get to know what hits hardest. There is a move called Magma Cannon, one of the most powerful Fire Elemental attacks. Now, assume that your Summon has 100 Value Mag. Attack. This equates to 300 Actual Mag. Attack. If Element Boosted (the Summon using the move is of the Fire Element) = 180 x 1.5 = 270 Base Damage.
- Staying in with the same Summon when the odds are against you.
Unless you have no other Summons or you are unable to conjure another because of a Trait or move, staying in would be adverse against you. Say your Summon has a stat depletion. Withdrawing that summon would erase all stat changes and reset them to zero.
- Using unnecessary status boosting moves.
When you are low on HP, try to keep yourself from using a boosting move unless you know it will save you in the long run! If your Summon uses Witchlight at 10% HP, even if you're first, it will be at the mercy of your opponent.
- Not using Tier 1 Speed Moves.
Just because they tend to lack power doesn't mean you should doubt their usefulness. Not only are they the fastest moves in the game, but they tend to be gamebreakers. Using a Tier 1 move can be the best option for you; think of a scenario where both you and your opponent are down to your last Summons, who in turn are at their last bits of HP. Why go for a Tier 2 move when you could simply go for Tier 1? You gain the Speed advantage fairly easily.
- Using a low accuracy move when it is not necessary.
So you can most likely KO easily with a pair of Ruptures or a pair of Obsidistrikes... why would you risk the 20% Accuracy difference?
