Summons, upon reaching a certain point in strength, will realize that their potential is stagnant. Those of weaker hearts will not pursue anything else, they believe that they are perfect in their own way.
However, there are some that realize that there is more to them than meets the eye. Some who are willing to go the distance to achieve their greatest potential. So they train...
And suddenly, a stunning metamorphosis takes place. The Summons, in all of their glory, are released into their true potential. What they can do differs from anything they believed was possible.
These are the Release Forms in their purest essence.

And suddenly, a stunning metamorphosis takes place. The Summons, in all of their glory, are released into their true potential. What they can do differs from anything they believed was possible.
These are the Release Forms in their purest essence.
The Release Forms are the forms a Summon is capable of taking after certain conditions are met.
When these Forms are achieved, the Summon will receive sporadic increases and decreases in its performance. This metamorphosis can be a blessing and a curse for certain Summons.
Gaining a Release Form will allow for two of the Summon's stats to be increased by +50 points and two decreased by +50 points, while two more remain the same. A Summon will be able to learn four more techniques, but they must delete four previous ones; and these new techniques are only able to be used in the Summon's Release Form. The moves that were replaced can be used in the Summon's Dormant Form, or regular form. One of the four moves replaced must be Incarnate, which will unlock the Summon's Release Form. A Released Summon is capable of learning any move of their choosing.
To achieve the Summon's Release Form, one must visit the Technique Trainer and request for a Chrysalis Period. During this period, one is unable to use their Summon for the next 24 hours. Once finished, the Summon's new stats will be revealed to the Summoner and they must register the Summon's Released Form along with the moves they choose.
Visit the Attack List to see how Incarnate works.
